Street-side hole in the wall, this cheap and cheerful Malay-Indian eatery has been a popular spot for those in-the-know for years. Does tasty curries, all served up with white rice and Malaysian-style Indian roti.

One of the “secrets” of downtown Saigon, the halal Malay-Indian cuisine served out back at Saigon’s central mosque is perfect for lunch or an early evening meal. The curries on offer usually include beef, fish, chicken, squid and vegetarian, and also available is Malaysian-style roti.

A beacon of Indian food since 1995, with a catch-all menu including kebabs, biryani, vindaloo and korma curries and a host of vegetarian options. Recently moved to its venue opposite the Park Hyatt, many rate this restaurant as the best Indian in town.
